The Bull

The Bull.
A powerfull 2 Shells short barrelled shotgun.

I usually do assets like this one to teach myself new things in the game development pipeline, such as VFX, animation/rig and UV unwrapping, also trying to practice and develop my handpainted style texture. It's a completely personal project and I had so much fun working on It, really enjoyed the final asset.

Thanks a lot to my friends who gave me valuable advice along the way and had to put up with my annoying questions haha (I love you guys).

Symbol detail. 
I wanted a gun that felt "old" and that was made by a "traditional" gun company, so I created this detailed crest for the company that matches the feeling I wanted and has also the theme/name of the gun, which is "The Bull".

Shells. Though the gun has an antique feeling, I still wanted the regular Shells we use these days, an Iron ball as a bullet seemed a little bit uninteresting to do haha.

This gun is a result of a sketch from my sketchbook that I decided to take down the pipeline. So from that sketch I explored with some concepts and got to a point that I had very clear in my mind what I wanted.

As I also planned to create the VFX for this asset using Unity, I did some concepts in order to guide myself better through the process.
